Research shows that the quality of the American diet gets a failing grade. According to the Healthy Eating Index, adults (19+ years) rank 50 out of 100 on the quality of their diets. In addition to incorporating healthier food choices, dietary supplements can be helpful to meet nutrient shortfalls.
