Position Summary:

Responsible for issuing, coding and inventorying labels used on Pharmavite's products ensuring accuracy, completeness, and strict compliance with all procedures. 

Responsibilities:

  • Label printing: Operating label printing machines to ensure labels are accurate and meet Pharmavite’ s expectations

  • Organization: Organizing work orders and managing time to complete all tasks

  • Reporting: Developing and maintaining reporting logs and quality control records

  • Inventory: Maintains control of label stock, ink, and other label room supplies

  • Communication: Working with the planning team and the Inbound and outbound coordinators to ensure labels are accurate

  • Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving issues related to the label room

  • Vendor compliance: Reading and understanding vendor compliance guidelines

  • Quality control: Audit and issue labels per work order instructions to ensure all information corresponds to the work order. Set-up Lot number and expiration dates

  • Printer maintenance: Working with the IT department to keep printers clean and calibrated 

  • Production: Monitors production schedule to confirm the necessary labels has been pulled for the run schedule 

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

A high school diploma or GED is required.

Certification:

None.

Experience:

One year manufacturing experience preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Requires:

  • Manual dexterity to manipulate/operate controls on printers and computer terminals.

  • Proficient English skills to read and understand packaging standards, standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices, maintain written records, read and understand product labels and work orders, and communicate with supervisors and co-workers.

  • Familiarity with computer terminal operation.

  • Basic math skills (addition and subtraction) to maintain inventory records.

  • Basic mechanical skills to disassemble/assemble and make minor adjustments to equipment.

Physical Requirements:

Stand/walk for most of the work shift, with little flexibility to move from their stations.  Write in Label Room logs.  Perform repetitive job duties for long periods of time. Intermittently lift loads of up to 30 pounds.  Adjust to changes in work priorities and schedules.  Work within specific deadlines.

Environment:

The environment for this position is mostly clean and comfortable.  It includes some minor annoyances such as noise, odors, drafts, etc.  Employees wear hair nets, uniforms, safety shoes and use rubber gloves for cleaning of equipment.

Safety:

The incumbent must be able to perform this job safely in accordance with standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices without endangering the health or safety of self or others.

Annual Pay

Annual Pay Range

$32,493.00 - $48,688.00

This represents the minimum and maximum base salary range for this role, plus annual incentive. Various elements are used to determine a candidate’s starting salary such as job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in the role.  This information is provided to applicants in accordance with state and local laws.

Pharmavite provides compensation for all overtime hours worked by non-exempt (hourly) employees in accordance with state and federal law. The need to work overtime hours will be determined by management, based on customer and business necessity to meet the needs of our business, Pharmavite may require employees to work overtime.

Voluntary overtime requested by non-exempt employees must be approved in advance by the employee’s supervisor.
