Swing Shift 3pm - 12:30pm (Mon - Fri) w/some weekends

The Manufacturing Associate is responsible for operating equipment and perform tasks that support the various business needs in manufacturing. This may vary and includes (but is not limited to) coating, Roller Compaction, blending, milling, pressing and the cleaning of various manufacturing equipment - as well as weekly majors.

ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS:

  • Identifies and inspects materials for weighing/use.

  • Verifies that the correct materials and the correct lots are being used per Work Order.

  • Weighs and blends all material needed, checking all materials and weights. Completes paperwork and uses electronic batching system.

  • Operates equipment to move materials (pallet jack, powered jack, carts).

  • Dispenses powder mixtures into the proper containers per Work Order.

  • Operates the following additional equipment located in the manufacturing department: Blender, Mill, Tablet Coater, Granulator, Oven.

  • Consistently promotes and maintains a harmonious/productive team effort.

  • Contributes to the department team effort by helping the team achieve the results needed.

  • Daily use of good math skills required for computing measurements/unit conversions and must be able to use a calculator to verify results.

  • General mechanical aptitude required for assembling, disassembling, and cleaning of machines and equipment.

  • Must be able to read & write numbers accurately from work orders, labels and product lot numbers.

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

  • Reports to work on a daily basis as to comply with company attendance policy.

  • Work overtime to meet customer and production goals as required.

  • Ability to speak and read English.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Assists as needed and works closely with all other departments.

MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent experience.

Annual Pay

Annual Pay Range

$39,155.00 - $58,835.00

This represents the minimum and maximum base salary range for this role, plus annual incentive. Various elements are used to determine a candidate’s starting salary such as job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in the role.  This information is provided to applicants in accordance with state and local laws.

Pharmavite provides compensation for all overtime hours worked by non-exempt (hourly) employees in accordance with state and federal law. The need to work overtime hours will be determined by management, based on customer and business necessity to meet the needs of our business, Pharmavite may require employees to work overtime.

Voluntary overtime requested by non-exempt employees must be approved in advance by the employee’s supervisor.
