The Operations Technical Trainer develops, delivers, and coordinates training programs for Soft Gel, Tableting, Gummy, Packaging, Warehouse, and Maintenance Department. Develops and delivers training content for all levels of Operations employees. Evaluates the ongoing development and assessment of the operations certification process and recertification process across all departments and shifts. Develop and sustain the onboarding training process for new hires and temporary employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Critical contributions this role is counted on to deliver include:
Develops, validates, and publishes training materials, including SOPs, Job Instructions/Job Aids, Once point lessons, Troubleshooting Guides, and other related training materials for standardization of operations across all shifts. Responsible for reviewing current SOPs, Job Instructions and other training material on an regular basis and leading the effort to update them when appropriate.
Collaborates with Subject Matter Experts (both internal and external) to define training materials, course content, curriculum objectives, scope, and timeframes for execution for new equipment or processes in operations.
Assists site Training Department with Operations department or role specific training content validation, development, and audits.
Primary delivery agent for any machine or process specific training and new hire orientation training specific to their department.
Conducts training classes, tutorials or help sessions on a group or individual basis. Training will be performed in a classroom, on the shop floors across all shifts of the operation, through demonstrations and through coaching.
Develops and implements additional process improvement and Lean programs, strategies and initiatives or other assigned projects to support the business objectives
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Critical Success Factors:
You'll be most successful in this role if you have:
Ability to collaborate with others to develop course content, exercises, and presentation materials to support rollout of new processes and tools. This work includes the development of job aids and on-line help materials for end-user training across the organization.
Ability to develop technical materials in support of a manufacturing operations environment.
Skilled in the use of personal computing equipment and software packages such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project, Excel, Visio, and others.
Proven skills that will help in evaluating and setting project schedules and making recommendations for future training needs.
The ability to plan, organize, coordinate, schedule multiple tasks with minimal supervision, and adjust to changing priorities and assignments.
Excellent interpersonal skills along with exemplary written and oral communication aptitude; ability to influence others without authority from a variety of backgrounds and levels.
Capabilities & Skills:
To take on these challenges, you will need to have:
College degree, BS/BA, preferred but not required.
Five years experience in a manufacturing environment required.
Experience in delivering and developing technical end-user training on multiple, complex projects.
Lean Manufacturing experience is preferred.
General manufacturing and warehouse environment. Ability to work weekends, all shifts, and rotating schedule as required. Ability to move about an office or manufacturing area. Infrequent travel to other sites may be required.
Supervisory Responsibility:
Incumbent has indirect supervisory responsibility for one to five employees

Annual Pay
Annual Pay Range
$45,408.00 - $68,060.00This represents the minimum and maximum base salary range for this role, plus annual incentive. Various elements are used to determine a candidate’s starting salary such as job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in the role. This information is provided to applicants in accordance with state and local laws.
Pharmavite provides compensation for all overtime hours worked by non-exempt (hourly) employees in accordance with state and federal law. The need to work overtime hours will be determined by management, based on customer and business necessity to meet the needs of our business, Pharmavite may require employees to work overtime.
Voluntary overtime requested by non-exempt employees must be approved in advance by the employee’s supervisor.
