THE ROLE

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Talent & Organization Development, the T&OD Specialist plays a key role supporting all talent management and organization development programs, processes, and solutions. The T&OD Specialist will work closely with HR leadership to deliver core T&OD processes, including performance management, talent management and engagement, supporting activities across systems, reporting and analytics, and communications. He/she will also be responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and tracking employee and leadership development training.

Critical contributions this role is counted on to deliver include:

  • Utilize Workday and/or supporting systems/tools to administer performance management, talent management, and engagement processes.
  • Support preparation and delivery of tools and templates for talent reviews, reports, and talent profiles.
  • Manage system reports and create performance and talent management metrics and dashboards.
  • Assist with program related communications, training guides and job aids.
  • Schedule and support deployment of training workshops and events; maintain schedules, manage registration, manage related inventory, set up classrooms; monitor enrollment and generate program metrics and communications.
  • Interface with internal and external facilitators and presenters.
  • Assist with contracts, purchase orders, and invoices.

You have attention to detail as well as strong project and time management skills, especially in situations when you are required to juggle multiple activities.  You are proficient in working with HR systems and data reporting. You are a strong communicator and maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times. You are committed to establishing effective and efficient practices that enable consistent high quality delivery of talent and development solutions, as well as proactively improving those practices over time and in response to changing needs. You enjoy building relationships and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve talent and organization objectives. The ideal candidate also has passion for the health and wellness industry and interest in growing his/her career in a dynamic HR function.

You’ll be most successful in this role if you have:

  • Intermediate level of HR knowledge with a strong foundation in performance and talent management.
  • Demonstrated initiative and learning agility; a track record of strong performance in program delivery.
  • A track record for getting multiple initiatives done in a fast paced and changing business environment.
  • A high level of attention to detail and proven skills in planning and organizing.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in verbal and written multiple formats.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in computer programs, such as Outlook, Microsoft Office, Power BI, core HR system(s), learning management system(s), etc.

In order to take on these challenges, you’ll need to have:

  • A bachelor’s degree is required preferably in human resources, organization behavior, training and development or related area of study.
  • Minimum of five experience working with human resources, talent management or training and development is required.
  • Experience working with performance and/or talent management modules.
  • Remarkable and responsive customer-service focus with strong communication skills.
  • Incredible organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently.
  • Passion for learning and desire to advance in an evolving HR function.

Target Base Pay Range: $69,000 - $113,000

The salary range for this position is based on national standards to reflect the cost of living and market conditions in California.

Actual compensation will take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, education, experience, qualifications and job-related skills. It is not typical for an individual to be hired above the midpoint of the range for their role and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. This information is provided to applicants in accordance with state and local laws.

Base pay is only one component of our total rewards offerings, and we will take the full offering into consideration when presenting an offer of employment. Our total rewards package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, Medical, dental and vision benefits, 401K match, and other wellness benefits.
