We’re proud to announce that Lana Woshnak, DVP, Product Research and Development, has been recognized as a Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) Luminary for her impactful results of advancing women’s careers and her dedication to healthcare.
The Luminary award was introduced in 2014 as part of the organization’s 25th anniversary of the Woman of the Year (WOTY). This year, the HBA recognized 84 senior women, identified by their corporate partner companies, who serve as a role model in their company, actively mentor and sponsor others, help advance other women’s careers and exhibit dedication to the healthcare industry. In a year filled with challenges, Lana led her capable team of scientists, engineers and technicians to work through the immediate supply challenges with packaging component shortages and bulk outsourcing, deliver more than 20 new products with their cross-functional partners, and develop the next pipeline of products for launch this year. While a short-term focus would be understandable, she also guided her team to deliver on continuous improvement efforts, including implementation of sensory standards for new products and refining the GMP processes for the pilot plant.
